In this video Michael Eric Dyson and Dr. Imani Perry are interviewed on their perspective on the George Zimmerman case results. There have been many perspectives on the results. These two don’t necessarily focus on the case specifically but what it means for an African American citizen in today’s society.
Dr. Imani Perry has a Ph.D. and J.D. from Harvard. She is a professor at the Center for African American Studies. Her research specifically focuses on race and African American Culture.
Michael Eric Dyson was named one of the hundred most influential black Americans. He is an author of sixteen books and is a University Professor of Sociology at Georgetown University.
